Last night The Date, one of the little folk, and I went to Beersnob's house. I took my Blade Runner glasses, a half bottle of scotch, and of course the boxed set.
We had been planning on doing this long before Beersnob went to Qatar but couldn't find the time. It was a great night! It started around eight and I went home around two thirty.
We watched the version that was easiest to digest for someone who hasn't watched the movie before, the 1982 Theatrical version. It had Deckard's narration and the tacked on happy ending.
All in all everyone had a great time! The scotch is gone. Blade Runner was introduced to a new generation! Great night!
