The pickles have gone into the fridge this morning! That means as soon as they cool off all day they should be finished! They'll be cold, very crisp, and garlicy, oniony, dill goodness in a jar!
It's hard not to love a good crisp pickle, I actually enjoy looking at the jar with the pickles and spices around it. It just looks amazingly delicious and makes you hungry for more! Next season I'll be planting several pickling cucumber plants and I'll make gallon jars of them.
They are easy enough to do in large or small quantities. They really lend themselves well to making big batches of them.
Tonight I feast on pickles!
