Plenty of friends, plenty of libations, snacks, and a decent game on top of that. The Packers won contrary to my thoughts on the matter but I was glad to see Aaron Rodgers shed Bret Favre's shadow in Wisconsin. It's a long shadow and now Rodgers has set the tone for moving forward.
Favre's legacy is unparalleled, voluminous even. Aaron Rodgers has laid claim to the team in the best way possible for any athlete, he won. Fans embrace winners, winning gives him a bigger knife in which to carve out his place in Packer's history. If he can win another Super Bowl then so much the better, instead of a knife then he'll have a chainsaw.
Pittsburgh did an OK job, costly mistakes though killed them. They didn't even show up to play in the first half. Green Bay had a hard time playing in the second. I didn't see it but from what I've read not a lot of people liked the half time show. I'm sure it wasn't as bad as all that though.
All in all this was one fantastic party! Everyone enjoyed themselves, no drama, nothing but a good time was had by all!
