Today isn't a payday Friday but it is a Friday nonetheless. Tonight I have a meeting with the film festival committee, I've come to love these meetings!
It is rare when you have something you have a passion for just falls into your lap. This festival is going to be really nice. We aren't going to overdo this thing the first year, we need to have proof it can support itself.
We also have a drop dead date that if we can't find the funding for a certain percentage of the festival this year then it'll be postponed until next year. This isn't anything anyone wants to happen but it is a necessary thing to have in place as none involved can finance the festival out of our pockets.
Tonight is also opening night for the teen show. The final dress went better than expected. They kept it flowing even though they were all over the script and one actor had a case of stage nerves and got sick off stage.
The show might surprise a lot of people!
