Super Bowl Sunday!

And I've got the final teen show at two. That's alright. I'll still have plenty of time after striking the set to get to the Super Bowl party and see the game.

Last night went better except in the second act the lead's headset appeared to go out. He wasn't listening to any instruction and was going wherever he wanted to go in the script including skipping three pages at one point.

The actors covered for him and I sent a tech guy to the back stage area to fit him with another headset. He got back and it worked fine, turns out he just wasn't listening to his lines anymore and ignoring the director.

All I can say is AAAHHHHHHH!!!!! A director used to working with adults would have killed him by now if there were anything left over after the cast finished with him. He thought he was good though and the show didn't crash and burn as it very well could have and probably should have.

Anyway today is the last show, we close it down and strike the set. Take things back to storage and sweep up for the next show.

Hopefully it won't take more than a couple of hours to get all of that done.
