Working Away

For the past hour I've been digitizing the footage for the PSA I'm going to be editing this week. This is a time consuming process where you edit in your head, you listen to the clips and find the lines where you want to make cuts.

Editing is like putting a puzzle together, you assemble the pieces in the order where it'll tell the story you need to tell. This will be a good PSA when I'm finished with it and I hope it accomplishes what it needs to accomplish. There is a lot at stake here.

Yesterday I watched the World Cup soccer match with Team USA and England. Four minutes in England scored and it appeared that the blow out was on. Fortunately USA pulled it together and due to an England error we tied the game. Honestly it was hard to watch, this game was slow, unexciting, and frustrating because it seemed that ball control was a real issue. Passes were overshot, easily intercepted, and there didn't seem to be any kind of play being run.

Throw up a few blockers in front of the guy with the ball and clear out the D, then you can take a few more shots on goal. They should put a real football coach in charge and see what kind of innovation can happen to make it a better sport to watch.
