This Is It

Captain Phil's last episode airs tonight. The promo alone will bring tears up, Lynyrd Skynyrd's Tuesday's Gone in the background, Jonathan Hilstrand's touching words, Sig's about as emotional as he can get. That and knowing you won't see Phil Harris anymore.

Bring your tissues tonight people, this is a two hour episode. I was so happy to be able to see Captain Phil during this season, see his good moments and bad. To see the Jake swap with the Northwestern, the precision crabbing that netted them a ton of great crab, the heartrending admission of Jake that he's an addict.

This whole season has been a perfect show for DC. I know next season they are going to lighten the content up as this one has been very heavy and emotional. I'm positive that's why they started the subshow After The Catch way earlier than normal as to soften the blow of Phil's passing.

I know several of you have started watching this show lately, some much longer, this is the one episode you have to see. It's going to be a roller coaster ride.
