I think Arizona saw how all week long they were told they had no chance since they were 0-5 when heading to face the Eastern teams. They had no Anquan Boldin to pull the double team off of Fitz. And they hadn't won two playoff games in forever and a half.
All of the Fox announcers picked Carolina to win. All of the ESPN announcers picked Carolina. No one had Arizona winning this game.
What happened?
Arizona intercepted Jake Delhomme five times and Arizona took advantage of those chances with points!
Now Arizona will either travel to the Giants next week for the NFC Championship game OR host Philadelphia! That adds quite a bit more drama to that game as the Giants will be an overwhelming favorite at home against the Cardinals.
It will be a great day of football today!
