Operation: Making Bacon Day Eight And A Half

Yeah it is now coming close to seven o'clock and I just put a slab of bacon on to smoke. I rigged up a foil pack with wet hickory chips in it. I put that inside my Weber charcoal starter and put the electric charcoal starter inside as well.

So the foil pack is up against the charcoal starter and it should get plenty hot enough to burn the wet chips and cause lots of smoke.

The slab of bacon is on the grate above the smoking apparatus.

The bacon should be done and smoked by nine!
