D-Day Anniversary

I'm watching the D-Day anniversary on Fox. Very moving, very emotional. The Queen should be ticked she wasn't invited.

I don't care if it is Obama singing our national anthem over there today, he is doing a good job of representing us. It is still a proud American moment and the surviving veterans deserve to be recognized.

Take a moment and remember our World War 2 veterans today.

There is a union meeting today at eleven for strike captains. I'm sure that the company has been contacted and are full aware of the vote totals and that we are ready to broker another contract.

I believe we would pass a contract with the same wording that we have now and with a modest 3.5% raise per year. Not the contract they offered which took away even the way we use leave and punished people who never abuse their leave privileges.

Hopefully we will have a contract hammered out by Monday and we will be back to work as normal.
