Set Call

Yesterday was pretty busy with set call for the teen play. From ten until after two we assembled the set. The only part left is detail work now, some painting, some decorating, and some tweaking.

It was good to get the teens lined out on how things run at the theatre. We showed them, told them how, and worked with them as the set was built. We showed them the power tools, how to safely use them, and the benefits of using them.

Gradually the set came together as it always does. Witchy, the teen sponsor and T the show's director, worked diligently to oversee the construction. The nearly dozen teens struggled to stay focused and my serious voice was used a couple of times to get their attention and get them back on track. Thankfully I didn't have to break out my death stare:)

Today we'll be heading to Beersnob's house to watch one of the NFL Championship games. Right now, laundry awaits!
